Hello everyone.. I bring this old discussion back to life, as it concerns my question and especially because I cannot create a new one.. 
However, I would like to see if in recent years there have been specific regulations governing the management of revisions. Let me explain: I send in production a piece, we approve, test, measure etc. and it is ok. then it becomes approved. has its code, its revision index 00.
for production needs we introduce/think of retrocompatible improvements. a new code is therefore not necessary, as the new piece is retrocompatible.
but I decide to do a sampling to try the changes first. 3d model, table 2d, raise the revision index, but I indicate that the table is only one test draft.
In this case, if I decide that the change is not positive, but for example it serves an addition, I must further increase the revision index, or just update the table date indicating that the draft cancels and replaces the previous one (indicating the date).
if then I decide to return to the 00 review, being the 01 revision as draft, I have to do the revision 02 that says to return to 00 or being the 01 in draft, just order the pieces with the old revision with its official design in 00?
