Good evening, everyone, who gives me a hand?
today revit 2011 has planned, browser windows and full screen properties!
I contacted my dealer, very helpful:biggrin:, he advised me to uninstall everything and reinstall it also through a procedure that provides manual deletion of all ke folders and system keys.

I installed and reinstalled 10 times minimum, but the problem with a certain user of the user did not disappear.
after a day of trial I made the decision to delete the user profile!

result?

for 10 minutes everything ok, then the problem is represented (porca ...... paletta)!

I have already tried to use the 2008 interface but nothing to do, it also converts this to full screen

!

Hello

same thing to me too...
the browser window occupies the whole screen under the command bar,
if I open the property window and move the pointer the screen becomes black for a few seconds ...
if I try to close the windows browsers and properties, then I see the working windows, all overlapping;
if I enlarge one and then I open the browser window, this occupies all the space;
double-clicking on the edge of the browser window, this 'superappone' to the work window, hiding a part, and I can't help them.
I tried to work a bit, but changing the properties of a revit material goes in tilt and closes.
this is the error message:

What do I do? ?

I opened the autodesk report today through subcription contract, I hope they give me a waxy and effective answer, evaluated all the money they want between updates and sub contracts....

Let us know something as soon as they answer me.

I have been waiting for an answer for more than a month, idem a colleague.
indeed his situation was + severe. no answer, solution: uninstall. . .
no comment for revit 2011
no comment for subscription

Look it was just uninstalling, it would be nothing.
I, as I have already said, have uninstalled, then I tried to uninstall doing all the conme procedure indicated by autodesck (Manual deletion of some folders and registry keys), then arrive at deletion of the user profile and recreation of the same from scratch.

the test user solved the problem for the first 10 minutes, then it all came back as before!

Let us hope that they will give me an answer or see me:

with everything we pay!

Yes, I have also reported the problem to the assistance...
I hope in an answer;

Meanwhile I did some research on the internet and found,
in the autodesk support, the instructions to 'reset' the revit interface 2011,
But I don't understand if this is our case...
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteid=123112&id=14880949&linkid=9243099I then found this post in a discussion forum, which I think analyzes a problem similar to ours (aimé are fancophone and only anglo-taught ...)
it seems to me that the proposed remedy is perfectly equal to the one indicated in the autodesk support .....
http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?p=1075334I try to wait for lumi from subscription support ...

ecco la risposta di autodesk

resetting the autodesk revit architecture 2011 user interface

applies to:
autodesk® revit® architecture 2011

you would like to reset the autodesk® revit® architecture 2011 user interface (i.e. the ribbon, quick access toolbar, and project browser) back to the out-of-the-box version and remove any customization that has been applied.
have us do it for you:
download and run the following script on your computer:
autodesk_revit_architecture_ui_reset_2011.vbs (vbs - 6kb) http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/autodesk_revit_architecture_ui_reset_2011.vbs

do it yourself:
warning! this script may delete a file on your computer. it also removes a windows registry key. do not use it without consulting your system administrator first.

to reset the ribbon and quick access toolbar:
rename or delete the uistate.dat file located in the autodesk revit architecture 2011 folder, which can be found in one of the following locations, depending on your operating system:

windows xp

%userprofile%\local settings\application data\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011

windows vista

%localappdata%\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011
to reset your project browser to the default location:
using the windows registry editor, rename the following registry key:

hkey_current_user\software\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011\components\panels
warning! problems caused by improperly editing the windows registry could render your computer operating system unusable. microsoft provides a wealth of critical information that you need to know about the registry in the microsoft knowledge base at http://support.microsoft.com/support.

use the microsoft® registry editor only at your own risk and only after backing up the registry as well as the system.dat and user.dat files as outlined for your operating system in the microsoft knowledge base and in the related solution, ts66513. additional information about the registry is also contained in the help topics in the microsoft registry editor.

ricordatevi di farela procedura sul profilo utente che non funziona e non solo come amministratore, adesso il mio pc funzione, vedremo quanto dura...

autodesk also answered me:

thanks for contacting the autodesk technical support.
should resolve by starting the script in the solution below:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...linkid=9243099....
refer to or to a script to download and start,
or a series of operations to be carried out.... with change of registry entries.

I think I'll try a little calm on the weekend, after the due ritual rescues...
For now I'm too busy with work.
I had to resume the files in 2010, but losing the job done in the last week, since I was definitely past 2011, which, tried and tried, seemed stable!

....
Handle!

look is a very simple operation in fact autodesk indicates both a link and a manual procedure of removal of keys.

actually downloading the file contained in the link automatically executes the procedure described in manual.

you recommend downloading the file and performing it on the user profile that does not work and on the administrator profile, asks you a lot of confirmation (go quiet and confirm everything)....

is a procedure that takes 5 seconds and no manual intervention, so you can start with the 2011 file!!!!!!! :finger:

Did you manage to solve the problem?

Yes, I struggled because I was wrong:
with windows 7 you need to execute as administrator the reset program of the revit interface, otherwise some files are not deleted....

But to be honest in the last 2 weeks I have used very little revit 2011, because I am carrying out a complex and urgent work...
and I need to have no surprises of any kind, so I can't tell you with certainty if the problem is finally solved;
I managed to reset the revit interface, bringing it back to normal,
but only in the future, I will constantly know how to tell you if the problem has finally disappeared. ... maybe at the end of next week I'll give you an update.
I saw an update coming out.
I will have to see that even installed, it may be that it contributes to the solution of the problem.
greetings
