I've been missing from the job and the forum so I'm slowly recovering contacts with working life. I have a question to ask: I tried to download furniture components (data 2010) from revitcity, but the download does not start. I still work with revit 2012, as I could no longer follow updates and now I see that everything has changed with the new rental system. I would like to know therefore, if the lack of update of the program could be the cause of the impossibility to download files from revitcity. Moreover it is not clear to me if I can continue to use revit that I first installed 17 years ago and subsequently regularly updated.
I think gfranck can enlighten me on this last fact.

There is no correlation between the lack of revit update and the cause of the impossibility to download files from revitcity.
by revitcity files downloads them do not open them for sure....... the problem would occur after downloading them if the versions of the files are later than that of the version of your program.
neither the site in question during saving files you will notice your version of revit!
You know what you think is impossible.

regarding use, you can continue to use the latest version regularly purchased (2012) without any problem.

I knew that effectivemen I can continue to use the suite I have in my car and that autodesk rents revit and the rest of the programs also monthly. the thing can be interesting in case work resumes. revitcity continues to be unsuitable for me.

I checked in revitcity and my profile has always been online since 2007 when I joined. until early summer I downloaded what I needed without problems. now, after the usual login and its welcome, I click on downloads, I choose the folder that interests me, (e.g. concrete), I click on the identified subject, then on "click here", and I open a very long page of rumps and letters. I don't know what to think.
