I have to shape a surface so as to create a hill, I do not have great constraints but do not find the right command of rhinoceros, can someone help me?

Thank you.

I would have wanted to create a surface and shape it from control points, so as to pull up some flaps here and there and get a more natural and less plastic effect.

Have you tried the cage editing under the menu become? That's exactly what you ask!
Perhaps, but I do not think I have understood how it works :-s try but without results . I take a look at the help online and I army a little

Thank you:

There are two other commands that can help you to create the surface. then use the cage to change it.
are:
heightfield creating a surface from a bitmap image
drape, create a surface on control points.
I also know little about the cage but I saw it using it is you can do deformations very quickly.

I have this flat surface and I want to clear it, so I think heightfield nn can help me. Now I try with "drap" and let's see what comes out of it;)

I don't think you can modulate a planar surface, at least you have to rebuild it (control rebuild) making it grade 3 and inserting control points. then you can simply move the control points or use the cage.

I made some quick attempt on a new sheet, I think I eventually agree to make a ball or something like it and then change it with the cage, then cut with a plan the excess ball part. I think it's the fastest and easiest way.

- It's officially gross.

If I can take advantage of your patience and knowledge, I would like to ask you if you have any idea why from one moment to another he has problems with the blocks. if the block amount the layers result in the layer bar but then the object wonders where it ends in the infinite space of the sheet. If I make copy and paste of a dwg from autocad I do not get results yet I believe I have inserted the blocks so a few days ago, but now nothing happens.

Of course, if the university did a six-month course of this...

copy paste from .dwg to rhino, which I know, you can not do.
simply import or open, depending on your needs, the .dwg file with rhino.
I honestly find myself always! objects in the same place as imports.

I wanted to thank you both sincerely for the help given me.
At the end I rebuilt, grade 3, inserted the control points and dragged them here and there and down I got what I wanted. Thank you very much for everything.:smile:

I read only now the thread...
another solution could be to make a semisphere and apply a material with a texture taken by google earth and a bump made with black spots randomly, more or less numb. . .
