Good evening,
as from title I am trying to simulate in adams a 3kg (mass in the baricentre) that moves at speed of 20 rad/s (ruote from 40mm, then it reaches 800 mm/s). I set a motion function of type velocity on all hinges of the wheels, modeling the machina essentially like 4 cylinders (wheel) attached to a box (carcase). the turkey starts from a stop and reaches the speed of regime after 1s (I made it through a step function on the hinges). I then created a very large box, which can act as a road, and I applied a contact function between the 4 wheels and this box (leaving the default Colombian friction). the problem is that trying to simulate the measured friction has a parabolic pattern at first, then as soon as I reach the speed of regime falls to 0.
someone who can help me? Thank you!
