roof with tiles or "real" plugs

I am using allplan 2009 and with the face modeler it is possible to load also 3d tiles and to realize a "real" cover :biggrin:.

problem: in the case of roof at the pavilion the tiles are not cut correctly in correspondence of the displuvi/compluvi and fill of the roof.

Can someone give me a hint? :mixed:

the solution (although a little good) is as follows:

in the options of the face modeler you have to fleggare "explodes", in order to transform the roof the elements 3d (if you try to explode it after how a macro does not work well the following);

Then just use the command of the moell. 3d "cutting floor" and selecting some tiles with the window command, go to saw along the line you want.

Finally just delete the parts that you do not want (obviously with window command).

but it works and the result is ok! :finger:

ho assolutamente bisogno di realizzare un tetto con coppi realistici, senza usare le solite texture piatte...
il modello 3d della tegola l'hai creato tu? se potessi aiutarmi mi faresti un favorone enorme...

If you want to try to create the roof (attention, unfortunately I found that if it is very large, allplan has memory problems), you can use a 3d element that you do or you can find on the net (try to search with google): look here (among other things with revit I have seen that you can also do and the result is great)
