roof with wooden beams, doubts about realization

Good morning to all,
I have a doubt about the realization of the roof of my farmhouse: I usually have always made the roof starting from the special function of revit, and creating the correct stratigraphy; In my case, however, stratigraphy is not practically present (in the sense that I do not have a classic brick roof but it is composed simply by beams, strips and plugs) and..vorrei realize the whole in a precise way, covered the caps in 3d.

Now, I read these two discussions found with the "search" functionhttp://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=13781&highlight=tetto+legnohttp://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=22779&page=2but I couldn't understand the precise and correct procedure to achieve my cover from scratch:

-part with the positioning of the secondary beams, and then place the strips and plugs?
-to place my secondary beams (with a slope of 21st), I have to create a mass with the shape of the roof on which to rest the whole structure or is there an alternative way to achieve everything?

Thank you very much.
a greeting and good day to all.

Since no answer has been written about it, I fear I have not been clear in the question.
In short, I will post some pictures so that I can explain the doubt better.
a greeting;)

generally the beam family has the reference offsets at the ends.
then placed the same on a view of the plant, it is necessary to move to a section/prospect view to place the ends by using the offsets according to the necessary slope.
positioned the first, you can duplicate it with the copy/matrix command on the whole layer.
the same method applies to other structures (arrests/listels).

It is also possible to use a tilted plane of reference (equal to the slope of the roof), on which to place the beam (in this case the offsets at the ends are equal to zero) as, in fact, placed on a sloped plane.
in case of change of the slope of the roof, the slope of the reference plan must be changed.

Finally it is possible to use a family based on roof (as for 3d plugs - see previous discussions) and in this case it is necessary to draw the roof layer as a reference to insert such type of famiblia, to be subsequently invisible (the ground)

last you can also use the command "system of beams" that allows to insert in a certain perimeter (of the ground) two "orders" of beams to constant interasses, between them crossed (e.g. beams + arches) of different type and thickness

Hi.
I think you need to draw a roof that can be either the insured or an insulation sandwich panel
on the face below with in command structure> beam system imposed the working plan on the face of the ground below and put on the beams that load you from the structural family>travi> wood
then cover this layer and call it hidden and give it the material as in the posts you have already seen, it must be leaned over your visible layer and must be thick of the tiles
on the upper face of this roof apply the system of opposite beams
for strips if you want to put them apply the same system with a lower hidden roof and with a structural beam system resized when necessary
or I'll attach you this roof that's too long to explain here
but if you go to the revit+ site of acadrio there should be a movie
I also attach pictures
in the wooden roof image you see the transparent hidden roof that contains the tiles, in the image rendered as you see it is completely transparent
