I was working on the thesis in restoration and I would like to know from people who may already have working experiences as a solution turns out to be better in the restoration of a building of 3 floors in masonry (especially tuff), in the seismic zone, and to which the original cover included some "wires" of the masonry... .
I would like to understand which solution between a cord in c.a. or an armed masonry is better and if there is a reference legislation in these cases??? ? ? ?

I believe that it is not my field of work, but from a static point of view they can work.
to evaluate the choice from a point of view of consistency of the restoration, moreover I do not understand what you have to do? should the roof rest on the possible cord? or do you want to make a terraced roof more typical of the Mediterranean area?
and what kind of roof do you put on, in cast, ca prefabricated, iron, or wood?

being the building located in a hilly area about 600 meters....the roof will be presumably in pavilion....also for consistency since the original one was so....using I believe the elements in lamellar wood. ...
In theory I should raise the masonry to bring the building back to the original height and then design a new cover.... .
