round outer casing and door insert

hi to all.sto drawing an exhibition hall.I have a few questions.

1)My external enclosure is bombed (rotondo).to draw it there is a fast and precise method or should I use a "primitive element" library element of round shape?

2)How do I put a door on this round casing?me takes the command "door"?

hi pitt I last year designed a planetary spherical on archicad 11... I used the camando of the spherical shell that is in the sects of command skirt. to draw the door I have eliminated some square (to draw the cap will ask you in how many segments you want to divide the sphere, as if they were the meridian and parallels of the earth)... good work!

thanks for the answerI attach the photo to make you understand better.I made the form using a conoid.but it is not accurate.for example the connection between the opaque enclosure and the glazed facade.what do you say?thanks

otherwise for rendering you choose a view that does not show this detachment...:wink:
And in the prospectuses of course you make the lines coincide...

so on two feet I would tell you to make the bigger windows and use the boolean operations to eliminate the excess parts. (the windows like you made them? )

I tried to use intersection operations with solids by doing a larger glaze but I wasn't well. parts remained that I couldn't remove. then I worked in section on the 2 conoids and drew the glass with a polyline of curtein falls and came perfect.
but now I have a small problem that I said at the beginning of the post.
I have to put some doors on the conoid. I'm doing some evidence but I can't.difficult. Unfortunately I can not follow the suggestion of pamela because I did not use the spherical cap command.. .

already that I am also wondering another thing that came to mind.what is the best way to make a rendering?what program is better to use? I've seen that archicad isn't a great thing... or so it seems... thank you very much

at least for the test port with Boolean operations: I guess the doors you're gonna have to put them where the stairs go up, don't you? I would put a wall of the dimensions such as to make from frames to the doors (magari of size and thicknesses such as to make it of the frame material of the curten wall) and use the boolean between the wall and the window. then I would insert the entrances into this wall in the classic way
