with solid edge (software we currently use) is a very simple thing, is it also feasible with nx?

Hi, I don't know if you're gonna use nx or if you get parasolid formats. I also use nx but I have never made tubes and so I ask you as quoting in if a tube? Can you post an example?

I never used the nx routing module so I can't give you an answer.
but will your partner give you what in nx? the .prt model and drafting, the parasolid? What do you have to do next?

It will give me a neutral format, step probably, and a dwg, but if you don't know the possibility of having this output I will have to redesign it to get it... if it were possible to avoid saving a lot of time

the standard "tube" modeling feature only makes the tube (spine + external diameter + inner diameter).
that sophistication you have to add it (I think it's not a great job: 2 excisions, or split the face + offset)

I'm not expert on mechanical routing, so I can't tell you.
