Art. 190 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Single Security Text) stipulates that the sound emission of equipment and working machines in the building field can be estimated at project stage by reference to standard noise levels, identified by reliable studies and measurements.
the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, with a special circular letter, approved the new database cpt torino, in order to respond to the requests of article 190.
in the circular letter is reported the document “updating the data bank of the torino c.p.t.”, which provides methodologies, procedures and references to industry standards for measuring sound and power levels.
the circular already contains some sample cards of the cpt database with information related to type, model and frequency analysis of some equipment.
