hello to everyone, as I have already said in the presentation I have no experience with autocad, but now I am having to do (at least I think) a macro. Let me explain better: suppose I'm doing a project on multiple layers (2,3,4,5,...the number is not established a priori) , my need is to save each layer (repeat independently of the number) as separate files, not exactly where to start, please help me, thank you

I am doing a thesis, in practice I have to design a software that manages laser processing machines, I would like to exploit the potential of editing autocad as the starting point of the software that I will then go to implement. project with autocad separo the layers, save them separately and then to each of them I associate different properties of laser marking.
p.s. I am trying to use the action recorder but when I type the actionreg command tells me that it is disabled

As far as I know, actrecord acts only on autocad, not on mechanical!

the part I have to design and program is not that related to the macro of autocad (at least that I do not want to program it), but that related to all the other functions I mentioned in the first post, however thanks for the help.

I downloaded the divlayer file, in autocad works pretty well but saves me only the layers type "layer 1" "layer 2" etc while the first layer that is indicated with "0" saves me but is empty
instead in autocad mechanical (which is what I'm interested in) gives me " error: type of wrong topic: stringp nil"
Please help me.
