Hello, everyone!
are now struggling with the simulation of a weld of a plate to a longherone, of course on ansys.
I chose bonded, but I don't know how to apply it: I can tie the surface of the longheron to the edges of the plate that touch it, or the surface of the longheron to the surface of the adjacent plate.
the program also does not make me calculation if I connect the surface of the longherone with the surfaces of the thickness of the plate: in this way the two entities would be perpendicular.
I hope I've explained quite well...
Can any of you experts tell me what conditions are best? And why doesn't the last one work?
