Hello everyone,
I press that I searched in different threads but without feedback and for this I opened a new discussion.
the assembly that I must represent is built by several bound parts between them and each of these parts is a made with a square section profile. for the design of each component I first made every single piece in catpart and then I assembled them in catproduct and uindi ultimately should have a product consisting of several byproducts. There's no problem here. This equipment will therefore present different welds between the various segments of each part, welds that at first I had not considered in the final assembly, setting only the concise and contact constraints. fil point is that the final rpdotto must be used on sailboats and is made especially for sailing in hard times. I therefore need to put the welds in the assembly. and here comes the problem. In practice I have two sections of profile with a 45° sform angle and I have to weld them so that they form a right angle. the welding between angles is not good because for these applications weld tig made on all perimeter. I tried to use all sorts of welding present in catia v5 but nothing to do, it always gives me a mistake saying that it is not the suitable welding. Can someone tell me how to do this?

ps: catia v5 use and components are all steel

Did you solve the problem of welding between profiles with catches?
Today I have the same problem. I'll explain.
are engaged in modeling steel parts that are connected to each other by welding. entered the specific environment, I tried to achieve a perimeter welding between a flat flange, placed horizontally, and a tilted tube of 30°. of course the inclined pipe has been properly cut in order to adhere perfectly on the flange. Let's say that the product is fine, it does not have compnetrations though, when I try to insert the welding tells me that the command is not accurate.
What can I do?

I have no idea, I couldn't solve the problem too. as in your case, the axieme works perfectly but the joints are virtual, in the sense that welds are lacking

Hi, your problem has intrigued me so I feel like trying.
result: 1) between flange and orthogonal tube to it ok; 2) between flange and tube placed according to a nisba inclination!
