same material color different

creating masses, how do I have all made from the same material but with a different color?
and then adding a chair for example, how do I change its color? and always have the same chair but with different colors?
use revit 2009.

hi, to have a different color material, you have to duplicate it.
regarding the chairs is worth the same speech, duplicate the chair and assign the new material. material changes in family properties. in general an instance parameter has effect only on the object you are editing, while a type parameter has effect on all the same objects.
