Bye to all,
In the company where I work in the last period I often use the "restructure" command.
now I have noticed the following:
I have the main axieme to which it contains b which in turn contains c.
I happen to have to bring the c component to the same level of b, that is, under what I perform with "restructure".
but then I want to save by name (and the new set is called d) I can't do it as pro-and tells me that I have to save by name also b because it has external references that point to the latter.
My question is why? ? ?
and above all, can I avoid it? ? ?

If by wimdows do a copy and paste a and call it d, when you open this utimo with pro-e what happens?

instead of making save copy of a and calling it d, it is better if you renominate in session a in d, so it is kept intact and d is the exact copy of a without any problem.

Sorry, I forgot to say we use pro/intralink and so I can't do renames in session or save from windows (or at least I would rather not do that). . .

"if you are using intralink then you will need to set the config option:
let_proe_rename_pdm_objects to yes. this will let you duplicate objects within pro/e."
