save multibody as a whole

They sent me an iges of a set but solidworks aims to open it in a part template, the template of the assembly is gray and unselected. To open it with if v18 doesn't talk about it, after two hours it's still there grinding.

save by name and choose iges. the multibody parts save them as together. look also in the rescue options of the iges (from the rescue window) to see if there is any flag to put that can serve you.
when you need to save a set from a swx native multibody, keeping the association with the various parts, select the "solid frames" folder in the feature manager and choose "save the bodies". in the window with the various options choose the bodies that interest you and you can give the path to the assieme. if you do not choose the axieme path, create separate files

I don't want to write boiates, because they are situations that fortunately meet rarely, but it's strange, if you open an iges made on a multibody side you should create a set.
