I believe that the impossibility of saving in previous versions is attributable to the evolution of the sw, especially in relational/parametric part.
For example, how would it be possible to save a family of the current version, in a precedent, which contains reports that the previous version did not have: what and how should it eliminate?

it would also be nice to know what you can (but especially what you can not) do with the project "exported" 3 releases back. if there is full compatibility they have worked egregious programmers (or have not developed anything that can undermine compatibility).by lori.b

design review does not open native revit format; so if you have to "revision" a .rvt file you have to export to dwf or dwg losing all the advantages of db bim (so local goodbye, abachi, variants, stages etc...)and with this tool, since it is free, I have never deepened knowledge and use.
