save revit files in previous versions

hi as I just installed revit 2012, I wanted to know if it was possible to save the project for revit 2010.

Thank you:

Of course, in my opinion, it's just a cable, not being able to save the file in a previous version.

Even second me, but I think it's a self-desk policy! certainly doing so people are obliged to update the sw!

... partly true, but only partly.
I believe that the impossibility of saving in previous versions is attributable to the evolution of the sw, especially in relational/parametric part.
For example, how would it be possible to save a family of the current version, in a precedent, which contains reports that the previous version did not have: what and how should it eliminate?

should be known if other bim programs do
we hope that those who attend cad3d and use allplan or archicad or archline or other bim
I'm sorry.
I'm going to ask her.

this is true, but the problem is that you can't even do if one uses only and exclusively walls, windows and objects by default.. .
families created with later versions could for example become non-parametric or partially parametric "blocks" but you would have the possibility to open the files to carry out verifications or small changes!
to tell her things seem simple but I know I'm not!

and with this tool, since it is free, I have never deepened knowledge and use.
Can someone provide what clarification?

with autodesk® design review, you can speed up design workflows in the fields of architecture, engineering and construction. The integrated 3d model viewer* allows non-expert team members to easily access complete projects. Moreover, it facilitates the use of all project data for building information modeling (bim).

acceleration of project review cycles
you can save a lot of time in building review and approval cycles and you can reduce printing and shipping costs thanks to self-desk design review, which allows you to annotate and review projects created with revit® and autocad® products.

yes vectorworks saves, indeed exports, up to 3 previous versions.
Hi.
it would also be nice to know what you can (but especially what you can not) do with the project "exported" 3 releases back. if there is full compatibility they have worked egregious programmers (or have not developed anything that can undermine compatibility).

design review does not open native revit format; so if you have to "revision" a .rvt file you have to export to dwf or dwg losing all the advantages of db bim (so local goodbye, abachi, variants, stages etc...)
