I would like to be able to weld a flange to a pipe... Unfortunately I can only do external welding. If I try to do that internal (a normal continuous angle welding) , it tells me that faces are coincident:

 creates welding processing: detected problems during the execution of this command.
fe d1100 - c.iam: an error occurred during the update.
impossible to create the cord. faces are coincidental.
Corner welding 3: impossible to create angle welding.
impossible to create the cord. faces are coincidental.
the groups of faces provided do not allow interaction. impossible to get a valid full welding cord. select groups of faces that allow interaction.

Now, I understand that the light between flange and pipe can create "incomprehensions" and perhaps it is not a proper "orthodox" welding (for inventor), but it is the typical method of the customer and wants to see it in the drawings (in practice I need it for aesthetics). . .
is it possible to "force" somehow to be able to see in the drawings is blessed internal welding?
otherwise how could I do (at graphical level in idw) decently fast?

I tried to simulate your situation, it works fine to me (rel 2011 )
Are the quotas consistent?

Unfortunately I have to use 2009 :frown:... and I have not tried neither 2010 nor 2011...
I have done a lot of evidence, both in terms of face selection, and as size of the cords... Nothing to do.. .
