small present in view of Christmas, for colleagues who share the use of inventor (vers. 2015).
a “banal” component as it can be a scale to the marinara, parameterized, in compliance with the current norm uni en iso 14122-4 (essentially no round pegs are allowed and the general dimensions must respect certain canons).
this is guided by an excel file that gives it “intelligence” in order to manage all the rules; when to realize the scale with safety cage or without, the correct conformation of this, the step of the most congruent pines, etc.
for each use it must be copied the folder in your work area (starting always from this master copy), open the management file “_masterfixedladder.ipt” and in this double click on “embedding” :
which will open the excel file management; in this it will be enough to set the hc scale length (meaning as the distance of the plans to serve) , to save and close:
the pioli length can be left equal to 500mm, since it represents an average between the allowed measures (400÷600), except for special cases.
all other data are automatically calculated in the interpretation of the norm and should be left unchanged.
I omitted fastening clips and bolts, which everyone can add as best believes according to their needs/standard.
I also omitted the idw designs, which everyone will make one - tantum in compliance with their own standards; of course then once made, these can be part of the master package and be reused for each generation of a new version (personally I have made two versions idw, one per scale with cage and one for version without; to every new generation I keep the version of the case and throw the other. Unfortunately autodesk still does not allow the parametric management of the idw boards... :frown: . in the idw it will also be managed with appropriate notes what the norm requires in terms of constructive issues, such as the possibility to realize the pioli with different technique, as long as they present an antisdrucciolo patch surface.
apart from the specific case, as said banal given the component in question, with this post you want to stimulate and spur to the use of inventor beyond the mere use as a 3d modeler fine to itself, for those who still do not. combined with a program that gives it the intelligence you want (and that you are able to govern), type excel, that allows you to manage all possible calculations, including the conditional ones with which to keep to mind the various parameters , various design options, etc. you can drive an entire plant, managing it exclusively from a table of external parameters like interface, both numerical and graphic.
Happy Christmas!
