Good morning.
I have a small workshop that builds (now very little) and repairs footwear machines.
Our machines require equipment we usually do. for now the process is as follows:
1)Customers send us plastic form
2)We make a hand model by cutting, stuccoing, adding buckets etc... (starting with plastic shape)
3)We send the model in foundry
4)Return aluminum casting
5)is processed on radial milling and drill (traditional)
I would like to understand if it could be worth it by automating the whole thing:
1)scannerreincrease shape
2)reverse engineering and modeling (to obtain the equivalent of model)
3)pass on the cam
4)Recover everything from a full aluminum block. .
all in low budget. Can you help me? I do not use any 3d cads and I would start from scratch....
