Good evening,

I'm a new user and I'm drawing with creo 3, I already come from programs like catia v5 and solidworks where to make the holes there was the special function inside which you could select the type of hole to the mothervite (e.g. m8, step, deburring....ecc).
in creo known that in the hole function you can set the diameter and length, rigging.. but nothing about the step and type (m8...etc.). Can you explain to me how?

Thank you.

in creo/pro-e in the hole function, there are the drilling tables (activable with the appropriate iconcin in the feature hole), which already include the step and the diameter of the screwdriver and the pre-hole (with the note 3d to be recalled then at the table).
the tables can be edited to personalize or insert others to have more measures.
then there are the cosmetic threads where you can decide each parameter that concerns the thread part (pre-hole or nominal diameter for male threads, they are to be created first with the features).

default creo 3.0 already has virtually all unified thread tables.
