Hi, my name is brown alessio, I have to cut some writings on sheets with the toiletjet, but when I go to write the text on autocad and send it to the cam of the machine the text disappears, you know what and due and how I can remedy thanks.

I don't know about cam, but I guess these read the dxf entity track, so the text must be formed by lines, arches and the like.
If you used the text command maybe the problem is there.

but can the waterjet manage the marking too? How do you do that? lowers emulsion pressure or increases speed?
or do you do in "manual" going to force some paramentary?

the waterjet manages to manage the marking through a proportional valve that manages the pressure of the pump.
But in this case I don't need to hack but cut all the letters.

Thank you very much. I'm a little fast on the laser, but I'm a little fast on water jets. by the way just cut straight or have 5 axes available? would be very interesting for the bevel of preparation to welds and for the marble, wood etc.

I press that this is valid for plasma cutting, but I think it is applicable to all cams in general:

for boards, banners etc. I usually use a special program:
http://www.dwgtool.com/outline.htmthat converts the various fonts into traces.

for marking instead usually just make sure that the autocad textm is "exploded" and then becomes a simple text entity and that it is on the preferred layer from the cam software (if it manages it).

hi d4anielsan about your reporting the converter you indicated as it handles the curves for example on a somewhat complex calligraphic character? I imagine it converts into spline? or can you choose? Thank you.

I have a program like d4nielsan and I can convert all fonts, you just have to choose if you want lines, full letter and then it is how to set the text in all writing programs.

I use logotag, but I pnso that all cutting software (in my case the plasma but equal for laser and I also believe for waterjet) we have this function. I usually make the design in autocad but the writing I put it with the program of the machine and then I continue to draw on autocad.
