search cad as autocad that allow to extrapolate data from drawings

exist other cads as autocads that give the possibility to extract data from drawings and insert them in a table exel where to obtain a separate material with relative data (location, file name etc.)?
I don't know if I was clear and if I posted the right place!

What kind of data are we talking about? sector?

working for a company that controls the maintenance of plants, I need after hyperlinking the rooms of a building, to extrapolate data such as parts of plants with related codes. e.g. air conditioners, fire extinguishers, and what else is part of plants of civil structures, hospitals, palaces, etc.
Now I do this by extrapolating the data from the autocad file and inserting them into a sheet of exel, from the command extracts data, I would like to know though if there are other software cad able to do this, perhaps at more contained costs. (possibly inmaniera more dynamic, i.e. if I change a data on exel, the parameter on autocad or cad is also changed).

Surely there are more "specialistic" software that export data to excel, as you say more "dynamic", but also definitely cost more than autocad.

excel is a type (type of aggregation/disposition) of data exported by the sw. if you change the data in the sw you must repeat the export in excel (what does it take?). is not possible otherwise
