Hello, guys! It's the first time I've been writing on this forum but you've often been helpful with other posts, so I have great hope in you!keep in mind that: for the 3d I have always preferred to use archicad, so I am not a great expert of 3d autocad, but unfortunately with archicad it was about having to recalcate all the polylines, I hoped to save time with autocad; the same problem would arise if I try to do it with 3d studio max!

Hi.
instead of the striped surfaces, try to use the loft command, selecting in the exact sequence the level curves (from the bottom or from the top does not matter, as long as the order is unique and the plines closed).
you have different options to choose if smoot, lined etc etc, and eventually you get a solid.
that solid can then be subtracted, cut, intersected etc etc.

then my pc gave me two times irreversible error and so I couldn't complete the loft. I would like to ask you, crystal, if you would be so kind to advise me how to move once I selected the curves and set "only cross sections" so always make a single attempt, even because I had to remove the check to "preview changes" if not I exploded the pc!

Obviously the beads have very thick points, which generates a disproportionate calculation volume for the loft.
What to recommend... I don't know. You should recalculate the beads and make them with more spaced points, but this is a workmanship.
make loft on a more performing pc? Do you have one at your disposal, even temporarily?
