Hello everyone! I am new to the forum but I read it frequently, finding useful tips.. .
I have a problem. for the construction examination of machines I have to size the rear axle of a samurai suzuki, to verify it then fatigued. How do I proceed? thanks in advance

hi then on large lines the procedure is the following

- static pattern as supported-supported beam
- the determination of binding reactions and then of the characteristics of stress
- choice of material
- determination of the safety factor and then of the admissible sigma
- determination of the number of cili and the fatigue limit sigma through the wholer diagram
- choose the breaking criterion (ex. von mises) and determine the equivalent sigma
- verify that the limit of fatigue is equivalent

At the same rate, you calculate the barns, the method is iterative but if you catch the most or less correct values it is fast enough
