Hello, everyone.

I've been looking for and I haven't found a solution to this problem that's driving me crazy.

I made several product with catia v5-6 r2015. in these products there were parts v5 obtained by copying in them models v4. typically they were vices and similar things. so let's say I had done v5 files from v4 through copy-paste and I had saved the parts of the minuteries.
and I used it in product(s) v5 with constraints etc. 0 problems

then I had to uninstall the program and reinstall it. the files remained the same . Too bad that now in the products all the screws have disappeared! ! ! !
I see the reference plans, they are in the tree but they are not visualized. if I open the parts file individually (the screws) are displayed.
I checked everything in the cache file options.
the only way to display these parts is to replace them with v4 model. But then the constraints are not updated and if I hand them over and save the product, close, and I find the screws (say so because in general they are vines) but the constraints are indicated with the error and in fact not connected (even if I had just arranged them)


I'm getting crazy!

Is there a saint who gives me a solution? ? ?

then this happens:
I open the file part of a screw and visualize it.
I open the product and the screw is there. except for everything.
I open the product and the screw in the tree there is, the plans are there but you do not see the geometry!
I keep the product open where the geometry of a washer is not displayed, open the part file of the washer and the geometry does not appear. I'll shut it down. I'll reopen the part washer file and it appears. reopen the product and geometry is displayed.
I'm freaking out!! !

I guess there's some conflict, but you have to figure out where...

seems that the system attempts to load the part from the cache, detects the conflict and crashes into the view, then when you open one of the parts, the charge and shows it.. .

you have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, but:

1) Did you do a clean installation by first deleting catsettings?

2) have you deleted the cache?

or you have products and byproducts pointing to the screw/washer/anywhere:

3) with same name part or anniversary

4) with the same part but this is present in multiple folders

you can make attempts starting from the first:

copy the catsettings and then delete them (if it does not work them resets)

cover the cache and then the gates (if the reset does not work)

every test should be done with closed catia and then reopened

choose a washer and with the function search windows if it exists several times in the folders and products (if so tell me we see it)

you're the one of the options, if you want to make a copy. catsettings is a folder that can also be hidden. do a search in the forum to figure out how to do it.

- after this second installation each time cast catia exits the error message of runtime r6034. seems to have no repercussions. But can we avoid it?

you work with the cache when you have big assemblies. the system loads the parts in display mode and everything is very light. to change the part you have to load it in design mode.

now with desk I see very well the problem.How do I point to the new file? In the sense I see the structure the name is highlighted but if I make properties I can not change the path.

depends also on the size of the parts, however with 1056 parts, I would activate the cache. In this way at the first opening you create the cgr (a sort of light parts tessellate), while at the second opening of the product the opening is very fast and the axieme much more manageable. every time you need to change a part the active (double click or design mode)
