showcase - cross section

Bye to all,
I can't create a cross section in the showcase. .
then select my object:
appearance/cross section/create/cross section plane...then it allows me to move the origin of the axes but does not cut practically anything... .
Some straight?

when you create the plan, without moving anything, you should see the model dissected... is a mechanical piece? What version of showcase are you using?

I am using the 2013 version sp2, I noticed that the section is carried out in all display modes apart from raytracing..
