showcase vs vred che fa autodesk?

Hi.
at this time the autodesk has 2 software for the renderig in real time: showcase and vred.
For me, I don't understand anything, I'm more or less the same. will the autodesk point on one of the two and leave the other in forgotten?
Does it carry two equivalent software? or are there any differences I didn't understand?

the question is driven by pure curiosity, it would be useless to ask me my needs because, I do not use these software and do not intend to use them, I do another job. But I would like to understand how these mega companies are thinking, because I think they sometimes do crazy things.

you correct, it has three, lately they have acquired virtuashape, which produces rhino plugins for modeling class a, (which in turn adds to alias, which of course has another realtime engine) analysis surfaces, and realtime reder :biggrin:
However vred is a much higher end product, the full version cost on 25 thousand euros, and is mainly used in automotive visualization, showcase is at a lower level.

I've seen that in suits that cost 5-6'000 euros, I think, they always wear showcases. You have to take it apart because probably, as you say, it costs a lot. thanks for the clarification.
