Hello everyone!! !
have you spent some good holidays!? (for those who made them)
you start a new working year and bang again your head on the good old and dear pro-e!!!

I'm trying to fix the symbolism of welds to be inserted in the table masses.
I do not like the symbols already present in pro-and because too bulky.
often use welds that do not need the description of the nxl and for this I wanted to reduce them.

I attach a symbol I made.
the problem arises when the symbol inserts it to the left of the welding with the active note.the point of attack can not manage it in a different way.

What do you think? !
do you have advice on accommodation?
What symbolism do you use?

Hi.

As a symbolism I use that of pro-e, I don't feel bad.
the biggest problem, as I mentioned in another discussion, is to make welds more visible in the various views, represented only with two lines confuse with the other

I'm so sick. . .especially in displaying at table.
and then insert the notes and some graphic symbols of the hand welds!

but possible that there is no method to make them more visible in the table, I also tried to give them special colorings with textures, but nothing

...and does anyone have the symbols of pro-e welding in Italian? or do you know how to change the name of parameters?

Hello everyone!
the symbolism of the welds in pro/e I find it bulky, that is, the symbols appear to me superimposed to the symbol of the cord, is there a method to make it more legible and above all not to see the welding process?
I attach an image to better understand the problem.

Okay dema, for the welding represented in the sections it's fine, but in the other views you can't do anything to see them better?

I'm sorry but using the welding module, which I use little, I don't think you can do more.

an alternative, that in the company we use more, is to model a part that contains the welding cords and in the table set the part as transparent phantom, if I find an example I attach it to you.

Bye to all,
I have a question. .
when in the design I go to indicate a y, a k, or any other than the triangular one, what parameter I have to put on the left of the graphic sign, what is the parameter that characterizes the cross section of the welding cord? ? ?

I have a short drawing exam and can't find an answer to this question. .
Thank you.

the value on the left of the graphic sign indicates the size of the cord.
in the case of welding to y the depth of penetration.
in the case of k welding (salding at 1/2 v symmetrical) the depth is not indicated because it equals the thickness of the welded blades. or half the thickness on one side and half on the other.
I'll send you a technical prontuary on the welding tomorrow.

Hi.

lollo, thanks to the delucidazione and in advance for the technical prontuario:finger:
