Good morning.
I would like to ask you an assessment, from the point of view of those who have been working for years or have worked at different companies and have been able to see how the world of work turns, about an offer I have recently accepted.
I am a graduate of computer science that has worked for a few years as a programmer at a very small and not very serious company (with maximum of 1200 nets per month). Meanwhile I continued my studies as a three-year mechanical ing. I'm not yet a graduate but in progress of studies.
I've done a lot of interviews to switch from computer, industry I want to move from, to mechanic. I have been made some offers including internships (minimum wages), consultant to a company that sends to advising to other companies that offer advice style "inception" (25k yearly, without refunds, to 1.30 hours from home, a kind of rental body), and some offers from microazines of 5-10 people.
made two sums, no one offered anything stable and no one offered a particular training, the only offer more "decent" was that offered by the consulting agency, but the salary, albeit higher, would be dropped between the 3 hours of daily travel and no refund.
These offers, good or bad, were related to technical/commercial design and consultant.
a much more interesting offer, from my point of view, was from a company to 10 min from where I live. (iii liv) initial - final v., no internship or internship, annual production bonus (about 1000euro). multinational of small-medie sizes.
the heral would go from 21k (without bonuses or overtime) for the first 12 months and then go on hand.
the inquadramento is "worker", but it was defined in the interview that I would still go to make a normal time until 17 (so no night or evening) with possibility of transformation to "employee", although I doubt since I work between office, production line and laboratory.
the description of the picture is "worker" but anyway I would be a specialized technician who supervises machines, design of details/modifications and modifications on it. completely automatic and brand new machines.
What I would like to ask is this:
Is it a spendable position in the future to continue to be an engineer and career? maybe as a "shifter", "automation engineer", "process engineer" or similar? or maybe put me back in the design as I would work closely with the machines and be trained in detail on them?
Is it a valid salary to start or otherwise, in case you've graduated, is it a proper salary for a three-year degree?
- after three years, at the actual stipulation of the contract of indefinite, could I treat on the superminimums to risk an increase from 24k (ccnl) to 27-28k seen the 3 years experience that I would mature?
I ask you only a personal opinion on salary and curricular spending of the job, since however the company is very serious and friendly and my choice is however relapsed on this.
Thank you so much!
