Good morning to all,

I am a new forum user and this is my first message. I am a biomedical engineering student and currently working with ansys for simulations for my thesis work.
I am not a great expert but it is already a few months that I work there.

I must simulate in motion of contraction of a pipe made of pdms, with opposing forces applied in the inner surfaces of the tube. My problem is how to set pdms as material.
I did a linear analysis by inserting elastic module, polka dot module and density. However, I would like to know how to model the material as a hyperelastic material to compare the results.

I thank you in advance for your attention

the modeling of hyperelastic materials is not trivial at all, and requires a decent amount of experimental data.
the only advice I can give you is to study the ansys guide well, in the chapter "modelling material non linearities".
then there is a very interesting site, polymerfem.com, but it is very centered on abaqus and less on ansys.

Thank you very much for the answer.

I check the guide the site that suggested me and I see to draw some benefit
