simulation sheets

I would like to understand how to simulate a tense sheet, that is not a plate but a very thin surface like a sheet of paper.. Does anyone know how/where to start?

What will this tense sheet do?
What are the boundary conditions?
depending on what you have to simulate the streets are many. . .

in any case I would model it with a meshata surface with shell181 elements with keyopt(1)=1. the meaning of the keyoption that I recommend is to "note" the bending resistance of the sheet (membrane stress only).

the tense sheet (at drum) lying on the xy plane should resist a vertical pressure (small); practically the idea is to see that when the voltage of the drum increases the sagitta caused by vertical pressure decreases hand.

boundary conditions are tensions on the 4 sides that are also real, plus vertical pressure.

I am using ansys13, statical structural, where can I set the mesh element?

you have to design modeler (or import) the geometry of the sheet as a simple surface (not a solid).
then in the tree (portion "geometry") impose the thickness of the sheet. then click on the right mouse button and select "insert command object".
here just write this phrase:
keyopt,matid,1,1

Yes geometry I drew it, but I had incorrectly chosen 3d, I removed the extrusion now I only have a surface but in static structural in the tree to the heading geometry I can not find the setting option of the thickness. .
