size elements in the toolbox

Good morning, everyone.
I am a self-taught solidworks user who over the years has learned away a little at a time.. from us it is used to design equipment or simple machinery. . I am currently working with a fairly consistent set and for reasons related to distinct materials, I want to insert also the bolts needed for mechanical couplings (vitates, dice, washers, and so on).
in one of the many pieces that have threads, this last is from m18. and so far nothing strange. but at the time when I go fishing in the drawer of the components iso the type of washer I want and the bolt I want, sw me inserts them from m16. I try to click dx on the components in the feature manager and go to configure toolbox element, but the insertable measures are only m16 or m20. to which I tried to document.. I read that it is possible to export the database to xls (and to me it does not work by spitting out a numerical error), someone says that you have to double the database and then find the possibility to insert even the measures called "unconventional", but even after having split it I find nothing different from before.. I even put my hands in that .mdb file related to the toolbox, which contains a real babel of tables with the general configuration of the whole archive, coming to manually insert the entries that in the "incriminate" tables were not there, but after returning to the database I did not find that magic measure m18 that I am still looking. I wonder why threads of dimensions can be made for which there is no match in the analogue viteria in the bookcase. .

the problem, if we want to call it so, is that the database includes many international regulations and this weighs down the loading, especially on the net.
but the advice I can give is to disable all the regulations you do not use, such as Japanese, Chinese, American, Canadian and so on.
loading will be speeded up so much.

returning to your problem and precisely to the mike video, I discourage the disablement of the iso standard in order to add missing measures.
updates are on the order of each sp, regarding the toolboxes.
I would copy the standard iso with a name of the type 'mancanti iso' and disable everything except a type of screw to copy it and then disable that also leaving only the variant.
in your specific case, you have to create only the m18 screw and its lengths, not even the parameters of the m18 as there is already.
As for lengths, you can export the excel file, compile it and import it.
I would also disable the 'simple' and 'schematic' display type. . Wherever you ask, for example in bearings.
Also in other standards you have to do this, just to lighten the database to upload.

As for soliduser, I honestly wouldn't even set myself to create a special guide, because with the video of mike1967 and with your short notices below, it's really simple! Yes, I have removed all the standards I don't care about, if nothing else to get the various components first. if this also serves as a facilitation for charging, well, much better. I imagine that the soliduser board is valid because when a data sp (service pack) goes to update the toolbox database, I don't think the installer gets scrupulous about any user changes: everything is overwritten and via (at least the main standards). I therefore believe that to my "customized island" I will go to hold only those nuts and washers that interest me, since bearings, oring and other is all exactly identical to the original ISO. . curious, however, that it is only me that I have had problem, since before opening the new thread I tried if some other Bedouin had clashed with the same problem.. Moreover, the toolbox guide does not go a bit deeper in the "custom toolbox" section, limiting itself to a few information and just". and curious also that, thanks to the ganza interface of the bookcases, important buttons like those to make the copy or import/export of the bookcase in excel format (with the latter really the programmers have given the maximum) do not get to see! Was not better a standard windows interface, with a file, edit, etc?? and say that I lost hours before breaking the boxes to someone, but I didn't notice those little buttons.. that figure for a little bit like me..
