solidworks is parametric.
if you double-click a face that is related to 3 operations...he always tells the last, as All Parametric cads.
if you want to edit the hole, edit the hole function.
I think it was obvious... but apparently not.
I tried this function today because I needed... all right.
pero with the instant 3d unchecked with the double clicked the hole and not the function of moving face.
Does that work to you?

That's right for a technical reason.
solidworks is born as a solid modeler based on functions.
This means that if you touch a face he should understand that it works generated that face and edit the father function.
Over the years, instant3d has been introduced to improve performance.
What does that mean?
effectively it would seem the possibility of editing functions dynamically, but behind this there is a more evolved project.
a solid with precise geometry, is represented by b-rep data.
varying the b-rep geometry is the principle on which direct modification is based.
The instant3d does this.
then feels the faces and in this specific case the function moves face has manipulated only the position of a face.
the speech is more articulated, but it was to make you understand why the difference between enabled and not.
my advice is to keep it enabled and not think it is a bug, but two ways to edit a solid.
