..if "machine" on the finished I think this is the most truthful solution (although slender) to respect the proper radius/arch of the acelet (the cut can only be normal to the milled axis).

If the internal faces have to be parallel I would make a simple cut by symmetrically extruding from the middle floor (the "intermediate floor" option seems to me to be called, I don't remember) the two closed areas that represent the caves in the view that you placed right then I would collect the 4+4 inner edges.
