It's probably a really stupid question, but... Is there a command to make bevels with offset or distance as there is for the flanges of the plates? (smuses that understand only a part of edge)


I had never needed to partially smooth a edge and taking a quick look I found nothing (I had to launch the urgent order and I had no time to do tests)

I don't know, the bevel is all about the length of the edge, you would like to smooth only the ends, if I understood well.

I had to realize a fried component with the edges of a beveled face but not completely, a part had to have the edge left alive, for now I solved with an extrusion to remove the material and discharge for the radius of the brake, I had never had to partially blush a edge and I had doubted whether there was already a command to realize them

Perhaps a method could be to divide the solid into three parts with two offset planes and apply the bevel to the central solid, of course it is a little laborious perhaps with an extrusion you end up first.

we stand with parts to be realized in race with bevelled edges a little you and a little not...... At the moment I'm solving doing a 0.0000nulla extrusion to "shake" the face and changing color on the right model to remind me when I go to put them on the table......... I'm pretty sure I'll make trouble in the future, but at least it's fast. .

I would do an extrusion in size mode of a triangle. At least you're not wrong, and you remember when you make the table.
or convert in sheet metal, use the sheet command and return in part. the solid is fine and the table as well.
