My name is stefano and work for a logistics company, I would have the need to create an application that simulates the packaging of metal structures.
I would like to import carpentry designs that customers make me available in 3d (and turn 2d to 3d). and therefore simulate the filling of cases with these structures, so as to have a 3d simulation of the packaging.
my idea was to create a 3d format, with the standard packing types that we use, load the drawings of the pieces to pack in 3d, and simulate laying in operation of the structures so as to optimize the brushes.
I would like your advice on the types of cad to be used, for creating virtual crates, and to import drawings.
