software for designing a boat

hello to all, I am a boy of mechanical engineering who participates in the project 1001vela cup, in these months we have baked the project of a boat (skiff from 4600mm) and at the end of the project we would like to solve some 'problems' (I would better talk about uncomfortable) encountered during the various stages.

at the moment we have designed the hull in maxsurf and then imported everything into solidworks to design the blanket and part of the equipment in a parametric way.
the problem is the following, of course the design is cyclical and working on very reduced weights every small modification made on blanket and armo ended up inflating on the displacement and consequently we needed to return on the lines of water, same thing following the structural simulations.
the problem is that basically once the hull was changed, it had to start from scratch even in solidworks because they changed the imported surfaces that are not parametric like the rest of the design.

the question is as follows: having at your disposal maxsurf, rhino, solidworks and creo3.0 according to you which can be the method to solve this envelope and have everything in parametric format?
Does it make sense to replace everything with creo and do the water lines directly there? of course we should make sure that it was able to recover all the parameters that it is able to quickly provide maxsurf (cp, displacement, ...)

What would you recommend?

Thank you very much.
I hope to have been clear in exposing problem and request

Andrea
