Bye to all,

I don't have much experience of rendering... less photorealistic, but I have to start making use of it... and running.
I ask you therefore a tip for a "stand-alone" software that:

- allow me to have images as more photorealistic
- it's easy to use (....better if "ass-proof."
- don't force me to change my supermarket laptop with an advanced graphics monster and virtual reality!! !

I don't want anything you work for me.... I'm looking for software solo rendering (without modeling...type 3ds or c4d) that not need of other plug-ins (type v-ray) to have excellent results and that it is easy and immediate

Easy, huh?

someone indicated me keyshot, but if you have alternative suggestions...they are welcome.

Thank you for your answer.

But showcase doesn't cost a fortune?
and above all: Do I have to build materials in the showcase or is there a library? (make the material yourself...this is one of my problems)

I looked at lumion....but it looks like a product for architects, I look for something to make objects.
also at performance seems lower than keyshot....and costs more....

I know it by name, but apart from the high price (typical of autodesk) I don't know if it has material library...(another of the problems that leads me to look for a "stand alone"

I don't know how much Keyshot costs but showcase to memory travels around 1000 euros. when you install it you mount the library of autodesk materials.
the only advice I can give you is: download the trials and try them!

if you do not want to change keyshot hardware is very suitable for design, goes on cpu, and it is fast. Try also showcase, although I think you also use the vga as realtime, which therefore must be fast enough.
other solutions, even more economical, always cpu and fast, could have the advantage of not being so immediate, however there are few it is clear.

thanks tristan and enri, I appreciate your contribution.

then the competition strings to showcase and keyshot: if I understood well they have comparable prices, comparable performances and are both stand-alone without modeling....so very simplified in use and specialized.

Thanks again, I'm going to play a little bit.

version 4 is just out of $1000 to $4,000.

look well the characteristics of the two, resolution (the ones that generally serve you) and features, because keyshot, as it points out exatem, has more versions, and repeat, I think that showcase has a realtime component that works with opengl or directx, so it depends on the graphics card you have, but it should also work as rendering cpu, maybe tristan could be more precise.

per showcase questo è quello che viene raccomandato da autodesk:

• multi-core or multi-processor intel® core™ 2 or xeon™, amd opteron™, or phenom™ processor (or higher) with sse3 instruction set support
• 8 gb ram
• 30 gb free hard drive space
• certified hardware-accelerated graphics card with 2 gb graphics memory and directx 9 support.

I've just found out about e-on software and it's nothing wrong. it's simple to use and allows you to get respectful renderings

Yes but...jin said easy! blender is far from easy and immediate!
You're right, but if you want to make a little quality you have to learn something about the program. Then in applying the materials must know how to use a ps program, the materials are essential in the successful rendering. then more.
another program to make could be bcad (propro group) easier than blender and inexpensive. I gave you reason but with some reserve, the section of rendering of blend is not as difficult as it seems.
Antonio.
