Hello.
we currently design automatic machines with solidworks 2015.
the pneumatic components are designed as a 3d encumbrance, with maximum configuration, within the pneumatic framework.
Obviously it is necessary however a design that represents the connections, and that is currently executed with autocad.
the bom is therefore not automatic, but is inserted manually within the management.
Having set up an interface structure between solidworks and management, through the pdb dbworks, I wonder if there is a possibility to create a scheme (with all the necessary components) and have a full bom of all the components recalled, so that you can transfer them.
I have searched within other discussions but are cited free software of smc property or festo etc.
in my case unfortunately, we use more brands...pneumax, smc etc.. do you have any advice?
if you are in such a condition as you manage the job?
Thank you.
greetings
