Hello, guys.

do you know if pro-engineer can read the native solidedge files?
I think the native solidedge extensions .par and .psm...I'm not sure...the wildfire 3 can't open them. My problem is to search for a converter that can make me import solidedge files on pro-e and editable. .insomma that you can recover the features..forse is to ask a miracle:smile:. Do you have any experience about it? ? ?

Thank you very much.

I don't think there's a chance to maintain the edibility of the original functions.

but this applies in general, no parametric cad reads the tree of the functions of another cad.

I believe that the best thing is to get a step and if the piece is not complex to use the feature recognition tool of pro/e to rebuild the functions (it is not always possible).

I did some tests with the stp files. I have to say that the feature recognition tool of solidedge(stp file exported by pro-e) is more careful than the one made available by ptc that I find frankly useless. I believe that there are in this case studies that advise on the migration of files from one parametric cad to another. Do you know anyone?

Thank you.
