Hi, I would like to know if there's someone in the forum who's using dassault compound.

to share some experience.

Greeting

Matteo

where work we started recently, we did a day of course in video conferencing, before I was accustomed to dealing with tables designed with autocad, now we went to an internal system with solidworks.

on the first I was a little bit surprised by the lack of freedom, now after a few days of trial I am beginning to take my hand, and I am beginning to have an idea of where the commands I need and how to use them.

the only thing I still have to discover is if it is possible to shorten in length the pieces that make up a table, I attach a couple of drawings to explain myself.

But I think this program is impossible.

Matteo

Thanks for the help!

I tried to do as you wrote me, but when I go importing the design with composer, I keep importing the piece without splitting, can it be because when I do the section creates that subconfiguration?

Actually, it doesn't matter, if I have time to try to see it, I never happened before sorry.

I have a half idea that to make these designs exploded, it is less brain-like to directly use solidworks.

hi we have composed for a few years and we use it. premise that from what they show to do it is not so immediate, I usually sketch exploded in s.w. and then when I carry it in composer at least the first view exploded is already made. then maybe I'll fix it a bit in composer that has more degrees of freedom. the program itself has potential but they have to be studied well and above all it takes a little time. dolente note does not support the 4k monitor well.

question.... the composer also serves as a file manager? i.e. can I rename the parts, the assemblies by connecting the "old" tables to the new set just created? Do I get it right?
