Hello everyone,
I have this problem: model 3d from which I have to obtain a model made only of surfaces to be able to then analyze it with sw fem. with inventor I use the "copy" command and, after selecting the surfaces I need, I make an offset (to get the "medium profile" after which I throw away the solid).. but with solidworks how can I proceed? I am not experienced with this modeler but if inventor succeeds, he can also do it sw...in particular I am asking for a hand to do something similar to what I do with inventor but also other "procedures".
