solidworks type chain repeat

Good morning to all,

for corporate choice have now decided to switch to inventor from solidworks that we have never managed to use 100% and only for indicative designs to send to customers.
apart from significant differences between the two software and simplicity in use in favor of solidworks, I ask you if you can make this chain repeat with inventor, I do not ask that it be as simple as solidworks perform it but that at least it is feasible.

create a sketch and on the sketch start from the trajectory (without extruding it).
then models a chain mesh on the same sketch supported perpendicularly to the trajectory and extrudes it.
in the browser select the sketch and make it visible.
component series command, select the mesh and as trajectory the unextruded sketch part. remember to put only the amount of shirts and select in the window at the bottom "curve length".
at this point he calculates the distance between the shirts and makes you a series in the shape of asola.
