hello to all I am new to the forum, I recently started using spaceclaim for sheet metal processing but I have some problem, and I hope someone can help me.
the first problem I have is due to export to dxf (or at least I think), I prepare pieces explained for laser cutting but every time I try to put a piece on the cutting sheet come out all open lines and it gives me error, the file between spaceclaim and the program for laser passes from a converter that converts it from dxf to geo but still I do not explain where it is the error if in the converter or in me that error.
another problem is cleaning or once the file has been explained I have to clean it from all those excess and bad-made sheet metal drains and the only way I found it to do it is to save the dxf file and then reopen it with spaceclaim and use the corner unit command to clean it by controlling it all and then recovering it, do you know any method faster?
other problem, however, due to my little knowledge of the program, I often found myself having to work in solid and then convert in sheet metal but in the conversion every time I go to identify those that are the mats, the sunshades etc etc etc. for conversion but how I go to develop the piece all the holes the edges etc... disappear unless I use the command identifies, is it a command that should not be used in certain cases?
I would still have a lot of it as it is my first approach to software cad but for now it is enough to me these that are fundamental to work,
