spacemouse compatibility with creo direct/modeling

Hi.
I finally decided to buy a spacemouse to use with creo and are undecided whether to take the spacemouse pro (the one with the keys) or the spacemouse enterprise (with many keys and the screen).
I used it for years with solid edge and I found myself very well, after a year that I changed company (and 3d software) I still couldn't get used to the absence of spacemouse (enterprise).
I wanted to ask if someone has any advice to give me on which to buy, or whether it is worth spending extra money for the enterprise, what I care to know is if you can associate the keys even with the Creo commands and not only the usual alt, canc, esc, of the keyboard.

Unfortunately I have always used mouse from 5 euros, so I cannot tell you the potential of a spacemouse or a programmable mouse with creo modeling direct (if you simply call it I create most people will think that you refer to creo parametrics ie ex pro-e).
I think, however, that it is possible to associate the commands to the mouse keys and if it were for me I would choose the entry because I use very much the commands to the taste easily customizable and the numeric keyboard and with the entryerprise I would have many buttons at the fingertips of the left hand and I should not leave the mouse of the right to go to click on the keys that are on the right of the keyboard (for example the numbers).

I have the space navigator (the one from 100 euros) and the two keys can be associated with keyboard shortcuts, but it seems not to commands of the cad. Unlike solid edges, for example, with modeling there is no dedicated module to be selected during the installation of the driver, which perhaps makes a new tab appear in the command bar from which to interact with the mouse settings. between the pro and the entropy there are about 120 euros of difference, if you can not associate the commands of creo modeling direct I would prefer to save them.

I would personally direct you to the inside.
I used it a lot and I'd tell you it has almost endless potential.

I used it with solidworks and solidedge, to make us two laughs I set it up for autocad, sketchup and edrawings.

I didn't have the chance to use it with creo, but I think there are no rocks to use it.

has configurable screen menus and keys for any software you use on your pc, thinks I eventually used it as a main mouse and I had a shortcut infinity also for programs like excel, word, outlook.

It's a really nice "game" and, once you get into a regimen (which I imagine you will do instantly, being already used to it) the speed in work will benefit a lot!


I putroppo sold it 5 months ago to the figure, if I don't remember badly, 200€.
Don't get scared of 5-600€ barrels that require around...my was a proposal in line with many other used enterprise.

If I remember correctly, you can associate a crack command with keyboard keys and if I remember correctly you can assign to a mouse button the keyboard key.

Hi, I have the spacenavigetor I have to say that if I can use it often for visualization and zoom it is really good. I have the problem that I can't configure the two keys with ctrl and shift and every time I have to go on the keyboard ...this leads me not to use it 100%.
I changed the drivers, the firmware and contacted the 3dconnexion ... without solving the problem.
if it works it helps a lot ...but you have to get used to it, and it is not easy when you come from a long time with traditional mouse and keyboard.
