Direct question about explosion with creo 4.0....I noticed that after creating the bubble with its table, if for some reason I want to load a custom bom table also deletes my bubbles.... Can't you just upload the updated table? second question.... but if I replace a component in the same position does not hold the bubble and vary the position I mean the number varies... .

the bubble is linked to the repetition region of the table and to the view that boils, changes one of the 2 and the bubble disappears unfortunately, on this cannot intervene

the position of the elements in the table, depends on the parameter you use to order the table itself, if you use an alphanumeric code, it will be in alphabetical order, while if you use the description, it will use the alphabetical order of that.
you can fix the indices once inserted, that is all that will be added, will go in the last places, if you replace something, the indexes will remain those previously set (to evaluate how the program reacts if you replace multiple components and update the table).

Unfortunately we have the same problem in the company, we will see together with the ptc assistance when we pass to winchill how they will solve this big problem of this program... .

more than a "great problem", is a necessary condition, because inside the individual tables, you can create filters, relationships, sums of parameters, you can bubble views with multiple tables and each table have a different symbol of bubble.
all these possibilities make table replacements difficult, with others and often if it is only the addition of parameters or graphic updates of the table itself, it should change the existing one.
