Bye to all,
I don't know which version of nx has disappeared the spline command with the points from file option. It's an option I need, you know where I can find it?
Thank you.

hi cesare
it disappeared from 8.5 (first used spline) now you can use curved fit that is parametric
or you have to pull it out of the customize but it is not parametric

......I wanted to say that if you want to use the old command "spline" you have to go into customize and take out the icon "spline" but it is a non-parametric command

hi matteo, I use 9 where there is no longer even in customize the command. I saw the spline fit but it doesn't matter to me because the old command imported and created the spline from points directly. Now instead I have to import the points through ascii files and then build on the spline. nothing serious of course but automatism used me.
Hello and thank you.

you have to go on customize, commands, all tabs, curves, more and finally curved and miraculously find it

usare file -> import -> points from file...
usare 'fit curve' con 'source' impostato a 'infer' e 'method' impostato a 'degree and tolerance'.

Thanks anyway for the answer. I had already tried the command but the result is not suitable for my application.
place an explanatory image.

Thanks again

the ideal would attach the file that contains the data and prt you show in the image.
according to me just play with the 'fit curve' options.

the curved fit command does not pass through points so it is not okay
I hope that siemens will think about it well before eliminating the command "old" spline or at least make a dedicated one maybe graphically + cute
