split view and mod. length

Hello.

I have a very simple element... a tube, of which I change the longness...for example from 5,000 to 15,000, in the table I use the split view, when in the 3d I change the length quota, it happens that in the table (obviously mod. the length), the position of the tube and the interruption (paved view) are moved, so that the design comes out from the cartiglio.
and I every time I have to either refocus the design or reset the line of interruption

Someone can give me a few tips about it. . .

Good morning, here's a possible straight.
create two points (of sketch) and quoti regarding the ends of the tube; therefore they are independent from the total length.
These two points use them as a reference (first and second) to create the split view.
